Unforgettable Golf, Las Vegas Style

You are invited to play a true Las Vegas legend...Las Vegas Golf Club. The oldest course in the valley, Clark County's Las Vegas Golf Club (est. 1938) serves up a fun test of traditional golf that plays homage to the 'good ole days' in Las Vegas. Las Vegas Golf Club is the closest golf course to Downtown Las Vegas, and is widely regarded as one of the best golf values in Las Vegas!

Las Vegas Golf Club presents the quintessential player-friendly golf experience with numerous mature cottonwood and pine trees accenting wide and inviting fairways. Thirty greenside bunkers add a degree of challenge, friendly greens complexes with slight degrees of undulation allow for run up shots or low trajectory approach shots. Las Vegas Golf Club is truly the a perfect course for a relaxing, forgiving round. Las Vegas Golf Club is one of the best Las Vegas golf values and can’t be beat for its fair prices, friendly atmosphere and relaxing golf.

Las Vegas Golf Club’s beautiful par-72, 6,319-yard championship layout was designed in 1938 by golf course architect William P. Bell in the old style, featuring wide emerald fairways and generous greens. Numerous doglegs, picturesque water features, and unique bunkering create both strategic diversity and a stunning backdrop for golf, while multiple tees on each hole enable golfers of all ages and abilities an opportunity to enjoy this picturesque Las Vegas golf gem.

COURSE TOUR

  • The first three holes at Las Vegas Golf Club offer a great chance to come out scoring. No. 1 is a drivable, 311-yard par-4 with three bunkers long and right of the green.
  • No. 2 is a slight dogleg, reachable par-5 playing to 503-yards. Some trees guard the turn, but the fairway is wide while the green is guarded by a single bunker left.
  • At 98 yards, the par-3 No. 3 is the course’s shortest, but it demands a solid wedge shot. The kidney-shaped green is fronted by a pond and backed by four bunkers.
  • Four short par-5’s ranging from 458 to 503 yards give everyone a chance to score.
  • The 458-yard No. 9 plays to a narrow green well-bunkered in front, but a big drive can set up a realistic eagle chance.

COURSE TOUR

  • The dogleg-left, 461-yard, par-5 No. 13 plays to a broad fairway and then to a green sandwiched between a pair of bunkers.
  • The 460-yard, par-5 No. 15 plays straight away to an unprotected green.
  • Six par-4’s play less than 380 yards, and three more than 400 yards.
  • The longest, and No. 1 handicap hole, is the 438-yard, dogleg-left No. 8. A few pine trees stand along the fairway, which is otherwise naked and inviting, as is the bunkerless green.
  • Two other par-3’s will keep players honest. No. 6 plays 189 yards, with two large bunkers in front; while No. 17 plays 211 yards, with two prominent front bunkers guarding a smallish green.
